Last night I had dinner with a stranger.
We talked about how all travelers want the same thing out of Nepal. We talked about who would come to our funeral. . . But, most of all we talked about love.
Love of self.
Love of place.
And above all, love for others.
“Love is a decision, it is a judgment, it is a promise. If love were only a feeling, there would be no basis for the promise to love each other forever. A feeling comes and it may go. How can I judge that it will stay forever, when my act does not involve judgment and decision.” – Erich Fromm
Going forth now in to this big, soaked city for a meeting. As always, in this city i love, I am confidant an adventure awaits.
Also, need to still go and figure out my fourth visa for Nepal. My passport is getting fat with pink stickers and strange entry and re-entry dates.

Such a deep conversation to share with a stranger, yet if I were in your position, I would’ve been just as intrigued. I’d love to visit Nepal one day.. there’s a lot of self-realization to be found. P.S. Adventures always await you!
