A morning in Ilam

Yesterday, we all woke up early (*long before the sun) and drove in a big van up through hills and fog to beautiful Ilam. Ilam, known only really for its beautiful tea plantations, was much more.

We all found it to be incredibly beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. It all reminded me far too much of pretty Darjeeling.

The drive was fantastic, seven of us piled in a van singing//dancing along (*to this and this) and trying to nap some too.

We’re back in Letang now, hiding from the rain, playing cards, and as always, laughing until we hurt.
