What my weekend looked like
Ziggy + Seahorse painting
In the spirit of Christmas and all things good, this was Guion’s painting for 2012.
Painting #3: David Bowie riding a seahorse. It’s all he ever really wanted.
+ Last year’s baby with a beard painting

Charlottesville + D.C. for the weekend
road trip: the meals we shared, the naps we took and the longest run of our young lives
. . . photos from this weekend. . .
i’m convinced nothing is prettier than a road trip through virginia in the spring.
kels, alex and i drove up to charlottesville on friday afternoon to meet up with eva, abby and guion. on saturday, we all woke up at 5:45 and . . . we ran. . .we ran. . . we ran 10 BIG miles in the charlottesville 10 miler. . .
after running, we all ate bagels, stretched out our achy legs and watched several episodes of summer heights high. we also all took long, carefree naps on the floor. i’m thoroughly convinced this weekend marks the most sleep i have ever had in my lifetime. i don’t know what to make of it!
“it may be that when we no longer know which way to go that we have come to our real journey. the mind that is not baffled is not employed. the impeded stream is the one that sings.”
