Feeding the birds

Pigeons are everywhere in the world.

After I hung out with these kiddos near the water, they took me with them to go feed birds.

Yangon is a special place and a place I plan to go back to again someday.

At school

When we’re not playing in the mud or pulling weeds in the field, we spend a good deal of time here.

on the days i miss india . . .

on the days i miss india . . . i do one of two things:

* go to the library & check out all of the books on, around, or set in the subcontinent and try to read through them . . . the current stack i have beside my bed is outrageous.

* sort through old photos & just sit & stare. . . & feel my heart beat a little faster.
