Christmas #2
I spent most of Christmas day sick, so when Christmas #2 came around last week, it was twice as fun as the first time around.

A quiet Thanksgiving -> A busy week
The relaxation that existed back home has already subsided.
I’m already back to a state of crazy here at school, but it’s a good kind of crazy. I feel far more productive and motivated when life is busy.
Thanksgiving in particular gave me a new appreciation for busy. I need things to occupy my thoughts and time more than they already do. And as much as I’ve enjoyed my uninvolved semester, I feel the need to challenge myself and get more involved. Last year nearly killed me because I was so over-committed, but it’s about time I just find balance.
I can’t do all that I want, but I sure want to try.
“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.” – Robert Heilein
