Kelly and Trey are getting married in April and I am so excited for it!
These two are incredibly fun to take pictures of and their wedding sounds like it is going to be unlike any other I’ve ever photographed before. Thanks Kelly and Trey for being so fun and for braving the cold with me.
“I want to see you.
Know your voice.
Recognize you when you
first come ’round the corner.
Sense your scent when I come
into a room you’ve just left.
Know the lift of your heel,
the glide of your foot.
Become familiar with the way
you purse your lips
then let them part,
just the slightest bit,
when I lean in to your space
and kiss you.
I want to know the joy
of how you whisper
I feel the need to thank Vera and Gordon for getting married.
Their gorgeous farm wedding was at Woodcrest farm in Hillsoborough in late September and I really cannot think of a more amazing wedding day! The weather could not have been any better and I loved every minute of this farm wedding.
Vera and Gordon truly are the Jay-Z and Beyonce of the food and farm world. They are passionate, they are caring, and most of all, they know how to love. They are entirely devoted to each other and it shows through everything they do.
It was a true honor to be a part of their special day and everything was so lovely I was overwhelmed and could not put my camera down!
Here’s to you Vera and Gordon and all the love!
“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together . . . there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart . . . I’ll always be with you.” – A. A. Milne
“The devil works off of idle minds and idle minds are his workshop. So therefore, I try to keep mine idled-up. That’s the reason I have so many hobbies and so many little jobs. It is because I have to stay busy.” – Kelly Wilkins
Back in May, I was involved in a documentary workshop in Eastern, NC.
Over the course of just one week, I worked on this piece and am happy to share it with you now!
In addition to this story, make sure you check out all the other videos on the workshop’s website here.
The other week, I met up with Jennifer to walk around historic Beaver Dam, Davidson College’s campus, and a lovely farm in Davidson. I’ve known Jennifer since she was just a toddler and it is crazy that she’s now graduating high school and preparing for her next four years at NC State.
Jennifer is gorgeous and so fun to take photos of! I keep trying to convince her that she should seriously consider modeling.
What I loved seeing most was Jennifer interact with Bournie and all the other animals on the farm. She’s so impressively comfortable and calm around them and they all seem to love her fully.
On Sunday, I had the great pleasure of taking pictures of these two hotties!
Lauren and Adam are so fun to take pictures of and they make my job incredibly easy. They’re super fun-loving, energetic, and affectionate and I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon with them in sunny Elon.
