Kathi + Lisa | Charlotte, NC

Kathi and Lisa were married on their 13th anniversary.

Their wedding was held at Holy Covenant church in Charlotte and an elegant reception at Byron’s South End followed. Music, good food, and a celebration of love was most important to them on their special day and it was filled with all of those things! Their wedding was held on a Friday night and it was entirely them.

Kathi and Lisa’s day was  particularly special because of the love that they share as well as the love that exists between them and their family and friends. They are incredibly loved and supported by their friends, their families, and their church community and it is evident in the way in which they live their lives.

It was an honor to be a part of this wedding.

Vera + Gordon | Hillsborough, NC

I feel the need to thank Vera and Gordon for getting married.

Their gorgeous farm wedding was at Woodcrest farm in Hillsoborough in late September and I really cannot think of a more amazing wedding day! The weather could not have been any better and I  loved every minute of this farm wedding.

Vera and Gordon truly are the Jay-Z and Beyonce of the food and farm world. They are passionate, they are caring, and most of all, they know how to love. They are entirely  devoted to each other and it shows through everything they do.

It was a true honor to be a part of their special day and everything was so lovely I was overwhelmed and could not put my camera down!

Lindsey + Jesse | Durham, NC

Lindsey and Jesse were married in their backyard in Durham one beautiful Saturday afternoon in late August.

Lindsey told me they were getting married in their backyard, and I honestly did not know what to expect. When I pulled up to their home, I was entirely blown away. From the chickens, to the gardens, and the perfect late summer light, Lindsey and Jesse’s backyard was a magical and perfect place to have a wedding!

I felt honored to be present on their special day. These two love fully and it is evident in everything they do.

I’m so happy these two found each other and share a love like this.

Lauren + Adam‘s wedding this weekend was entirely them – fun, beautiful, and full of life.

They got married at St. Mark’s Church in Burlington and had a gorgeous, sunny reception at the Hayloft in McLeansville.

I’m in the process of working on their wedding video and will share the final product soon in addition to Lindsey + Jesse’s video from their backyard wedding in Durham last weekend!

Arianna + Mau = Married | Tulum, Mexico

In early October, Arianna + Mau were married on a gorgeous nature reserve in Tulum, Mexico. The day was filled with lots of love, laughter, and happy tears. Everything was beautiful and I couldn’t stop myself from taking thousands of photos. Arianna + Mau’s wedding was perfectly them and it was an honor to be a part of such a special day.

Arianna + Mau‘s entire wedding weekend was magical. On the day before Arianna + Mau’s beautiful Mexican wedding, Arianna’s aunts threw her a lovely wedding shower at Las Ranitas in Tulum.

The rest of the day, family and friends celebrated by playing down by the water and eating dinner in the center of town.
